There are two main ways to complete a window installation. The first way and most labour intensive way is to remove the interior casing surrounding the window and completely remove the existing frame back to the original stud opening. This is known as a Brick to Brick installation. Other terms used for this type if installation are “full frame removal”, “stud to stud” and “frame out”.
